After qualifying as a fine artist and designer I started my career as a swimwear designer for a London design studio. After a few years in London I decided to move to Cheshire and got a job working for Royal Doulton as a Surface Pattern Designer. Having gained seven years experience of textile and ceramic design I set up a surface pattern design studio predominantly focussing on ceramics, but also greetings cards, gift wrap and textiles producing designs for a broad range of clients for many years. More recently my fine art background has resurfaced in my work in the form of landscape paintings in oils.
